Tutorials and Workshops will be held on 20 August
2008. Like the previous MFI conferences, the organizers intend
to arrange an extensive program of workshops and tutorials to
be held prior to the conference. Proposals for tutorials and workshops
that address topics related to the conference topics are welcome.
Proposals must be submitted by February 1,
2008.
Proposal Format:
1. Title
2. Abstract (<1500 words, indicate full or half day)
3. Organizers (complete address, phone, and e-mail)
4. Confirmed Presenters with affiliations
5. List of Topics
6. Motivation and Objectives (<300 words)
7. List of presenters with affiliations and status of confirmation
8. Intended audience
9. Relation to the previous MFI conference
10. Duration: half-day (3hr), full-day (6hr)
Please e-mail proposals in doc or .pdf files to
info@mfi2008.org.
All reviews and interactions will be conducted via e-mail. Decisions
will be announced by email by March 1, 2008. The accepted proposals
will be posted on the conference website. Organizers should collect
lecture notes from all speakers no later than June 30, 2008. |
